CowboyKevin. Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but this is still going on apparently. Mooching around in a lobby today and got shot from nowhere, no player circle on mini-map. Saw him coming the second time but still no circle and killed him, but then kept getting rinsed by 6-7 people in a posse called 'The Crypt'.
Posted November 9, 2015. This has been reported in the past several times to Rockstar. For instance, Map exploration gone after playing GTA V Online. Map keeps resetting. Single Player Map messed up - All Exploration gone. Now that you are still reporting a similar issue, I guess Rockstar hasn't fixed this yet.

I own the max of 3 garages, 2 being part of owned apartments, but when looking on the map, the garages that are owned with the apartments do not show at all, only the 3rd garage which is not part of an apartment. I am not sure if the garages which are part of the apartments are suppose to show on the map or not.
Posted October 10, 2013. I've noticed whilst perusing the map, that certain players normally white circle icons turn to a white flag, what exactly does this mean? The Circle with a line through it (like a forbidden sign) is a player with passive mode active. Can't seem to find any in game explanation.
1 Answer. Sorted by: 12. The reason it is gold is because you bookmarked it through Rockstar Social Club; all bookmarked jobs (missions, survival, deathmatches, races, etc.) are highlighted in gold. Hi, I just started playing GTA V, haven´t unlocked Trevor yet but so far most annoying thing is that although both characters (M and F) have missions to do those are not visible on map. Randomly when I load game I can see them, so I do one and rest dissapear again. And it is not because of daytime in the game.
